Another example of the surprisingly vibrant graffiti culture in Geneva, this time on the facade of a school. Ootd was a 7-fold wool/cashmere tie worn with a jacket from Hackett, bespoke shirt (CYC Raffles), Incotex pants, Oliver Peoples (Daddy B) sunglasses, ps from A43, Allen Edmonds shoes and a vintage cap.
A close-up from Diplomatic Ties 293.
Untipped wool tie with handrolled edges. Worn with a Zegna Trofeo jacket with a very subtle blue overcheck. Shirt from Oscar Jacobson, scarf from Corneliani and an old ps. Click on the headline for more pictures.
A shantung silk tie with a summery feel. Worn with a lovely vintage Zegna jacket. The jacket is made of a tightly woven cashmere fabric with a very soft touch but lighter than cashmere usually is. The shoulders have been “italianized” by http://dirnelli.tumblr.com , but the low button stance immediately reveals that it is a vintage jacket. Ivory shirt from Emma Willis and ps from Battisti Napoli. Click the headline for more pictures.
With one of my favourite shirts: a heavy flannel from Indigofera. Click on the headline for more pictures.
A photo series that just happened to be there when I started looking through my files. The result of often being forced to shoot while trailing along, trying to keep up – in the most different places. Mrs Blockert. Click the headline for the full picture.
7-fold silk tie from Kiton, worn with a silk/linen jacket from Isaia, an ivory Emma Willis shirt and a wool ps from A. Christensen. The jacket has M.O.P. buttons which I find to be a bit impractical sometimes, but no denying that it looks good on a lighter coloured fabric. Click on the headline for more pictures. Autumn day in Geneva. Son not very interested in anything but the phone, as usual. Wool challis tie from Cappelli, worn with Isaia shirt, Harris Tweed jacket, Hentsch coat, Incotex pants and Red Wings. My first tie from the Berlin based Shibumi and I’m impressed. Lovely handrolled linen tie with a matte floral pattern. Silk ps also from Shibumi. Also thanks to Dirnelli for the wonderful Lander Urquijo jacket. Photographs taken at Collège de Budé in Geneva. Click on the headline for more pictures.
