Still summer in Geneva. I’m getting anxious to bring out the tweeds and flannels, but it will just have to wait. Jacket from Boggi, Armani shirt, tie from Vanda, ps from Poszetka, Berg & Berg pants and shoes from Mano. Click on the headline for more pics.

Diplomatic Ties 360: Kiton

Different shades of brown. The jacket is probably the oldest jacket I still have in my rotation. One of the first “good” garments I ever bought. It’s from the now defunct Zegna Soft line, which has been replaced by Zzegna. But my impression is that the Soft line was much closer in quality to Zegna’s mainline than Zzegna is. Jacket and shirt from Zegna, tie from Kiton, Berg & Berg ps, RL pants and shoes from Edward Green. Click on the headline for more pics.

Navy blue is probably the most common colour for men’s suits of all. But there are other shades of blue that can work very well too, as this one in Air Force blue. Suit from Sartoria Partenopea, G. Inglese shirt, tie from Poszetka, Battisti Napoli ps and shoes from Carmina. Click on the headline for more pictures.

Seersucker or not seersucker.

I really like this jacket since it is surprisingly cool even in the summer heat that still lingers in Geneva. It’s a seersucker type weave, with the “bubbly” texture, but the fabric is not cotton (as a true seersucker should be) but rather a wool/silk blend. The jacket is from Isaia, the shirt is Borrelli, Ovadia & Sons tie, Calabrese ps and chinos from Brioni. Click on the headline for more pics.
