Neon Backdrop

A backdrop so busy it might take some attention from the outfit. But Mrs Blockert liked it. Jacket from Caruso, Drake’s shirt, tie from Tie Your Tie, Boivin ps, Canali pants, shoes from Mano and Moscot shades. Click on the headline for more pics.

Me in front of large (obviously christian) building. Don’t know exactly what it is (a church?) but a very photogenic building nonetheless. Caruso jacket, Drake’s shirt, tie from Kiton, Christian Kimber ps, chinos from Brioni, Mano shoes and a vintage linen cap. Click on the headline for more pics.

I have plenty of shirts and ties from Borrelli, a few jackets too, but only recently acquired my first two Borrelli suits (see also Diplomatic Ties 407 below). Very impressed by both of them, great craftmanship. Suit from Borrelli, Inglese shirt, tie from Boivin (for Kimono, Paris), Berg & Berg ps and Carmina shoes. Click on the headline for more pics.

Shoeporn: Edward Green’s single monk “Hove”

By Daniel Blockert|August 3, 2017|Footwear|0 comments

Monk shoes have been popular for some time now, especially the double monks. I don’t really like monk shoes and I dislike double monks in particular. This is the exception, Edward Green’s single monk “Hove”, which is just a beautiful shoe. The same goes for Edward Green’s “Mercer”, which is essentially the same model but without brogue. Only monk shoes I can stand.
