Diplomatic Ties 411: Vanda Fine Clothing
Political posters in Geneva are rarely subtle. The most common word in all Swiss referendums must be: “Non!”. Zegna jacket, bespoke shirt, tie and ps from Vanda, Berg & Berg pants, Allen Edmonds shoes and shades from Garrett Leight. Click on the headline for more pics.

Last Days of Linen
An unusually warm early autumn day gives me the opportunity to wear a linen tie. Soon my wardrobe will be rotated and linen will not resurface again until next spring. Isaia jacket, shirt from Drake’s, Loro Piana tie, ps from Berg & Berg, Oscar Jacobson pants and shoes from John Lobb. Click on the headline for more pics.

Close-up of the nice pinhead fabric. Works well with a grenadine tie.

The 3-Piece
Don’t wear 3-piece suits very often. Not that I have anything against them per se, on the contrary, it’s just that I’m usually more comfortable in a regular 2-piece. When you wear 3-piece suits, you usually end up spending most of the time wearing the vest without the jacket, especially indoors. And that’s a shame because, let’s face it, the jacket is really the best looking and most sophisticated garment in the entire menswear wardrobe. But it’s nice to mix it up sometimes and I really like this Scavini 3-piece that I found through Dirnelli. Suit from Scavini, Attolini shirt, tie

Geneva Street Food Festival
A casual fit today. I usually don’t post casual fits because I made a choice to focus more on formal menswear, but of course I wear casual clothes as well. Luigi Bianchi jacket, shirt from Bleu de Paname, Brunello Cucinelli ps, pants from Jaggy, Adidas/White Mountaineering sneakers, scarf from RRL and Moscot shades. Click on the headline for more pics.
