L’Heure Bleu

Even if the weather’s still nice autumn is coming. A sure-tell sign in Scandinavia is always the light. Dusk comes much earlier already, hence the “l’heure bleu” quality of these pictures even though it was only around 6 pm. Luciano Barbera jacket, shirt from Borrelli, Marinella tie, ps from Vanda, Berg & Berg pants and John Lobb shoes. Scent: Lalique Encre Noire. Click on the headline for more pics.

I don’t post a lot of casual fits, but this was taken a few days ago during one of (probably) the last warm days of fall. Jacket from Polo RL, Bleu de Paname shirt, pants from Jaggy, Buttero sneakers and shades from Oliver Peoples. Scent: Tauer Lonestar Memories. Click on the headline for more pictures.

Double-Breasted Fresco

Since DB jackets/suits are a little warmer than a single breasted jacket/suit, it can seem like a contradiction to have a DB suit made in a summer fabric. But I couldn’t resist this grey DB suit made in a fresco fabric from Hardy Minnis. The suit was made by Bladen for Tweed – Gentlemen’s Clothier in Stockholm. Suit from Bladen, Eton shirt, tie and ps from Vanda and Carmina shoes. Click on the headline for more pics.
