New jacket in a heavy Irish linen fabric. I like the combination of a heavier type of linen because you still get the cool and airy qualities of linen, but with a great fall in the fabric and without the flimsyness of lighter linen. Jacket from Bladen, Inglese shirt, tie from Vanda, Berg and Berg ps, pants from Zegna, Mano shoes and Garrett Leight shades. Scent: Bruno Fazzolari Montserrat. Click on the headline for more pics.

It looked like spring had arrived but then we got a spell of colder weather in Scandinavia again. The good news is that it gave me a chance to take my latest commission on a maiden voyage. A DB in a Holland & Sherry tweed, done by Götrich 1730 in Stockholm. Bespoke jacket from Götrich, shirt from Drake’s, Brioni tie, noname ps, pants from Berg & Berg and Allen Edmonds shoes. Scent: Mona di Orio Santal Nabataea.

I have to confess that up until recently I had no idea that the famous Italian gun manufacturer Beretta also made menswear. I suppose it’s logical given the brands long history (it was founded in the 1400s!) with hunting gear. I fell in love with the E. Thomas fabric in this jacket, which is a cashmere/wool tweed. Jacket from Beretta, Charvet shirt, tie from Adriano Dirnelli, ps and pants from Berg & Berg and Tricker’s shoes.
It’s difficult to beat grenadine ties for versatility. Suit and shirt from Zegna Couture, Vanda tie, ps from Liverano and Alden shoes. Scent: Bruno Fazzolari Ummagumma. Click on the headline for more pics.
